Office of Academic Affairs

    The spread of the World Wide Web, coupled with knowledge-based economy, globalism, and knowledge explosion, has deeply influenced our education system and student learning as a whole. Under such circumstances, “learning how to learn” becomes an inevitable goal in education at all levels, for it not only cultivates students’ capabilities in life-long learning, but also enhances the quality of citizens, improves the development of our society, and strengthens the competitiveness of the nation. To fulfill this goal, the Office of Academic Affairs has taken responsibilities in student recruitment, academic learning, and instruction by improving the quality of the academic affairs administration, providing assistance to the daily operation of academic units, incorporating school resources, and strengthening administration in teaching quality. All staff members in the Office are enthusiastic, responsible, professional, and visionary, striving to make STU a place which fosters academics, intellect, happiness, and hope.
